Bite the bullet

Greetings underwear fans,
                   Today I thought I would tell you why I like these Gregg Homme bullet briefs, straight away the look of them is great (the hint of straps and buckles) they just seem to me to cry, undo me and see what's inside, like a gift all wrapped up beautifully, just waiting to be ripped open.
    What is very annoying, although I like the look and colour, I can only find them in black and when I choose my underwear I like a wide variety of colours to choose from. Round the back they almost but not quite cover your bottom in a fine mesh which again I find looks sexy.
     I could make the obvious puns about loaded guns, a bullet with your name on,and so on and so forth but
I won't, because underwear fans like you and me, keep our weapons ready to be whipped out and fired at any given moment.

       I don't know about you but gregg homme has some great new underwear and it is worth checking out, you can do this at Dead Good Undies.

        Croota is a newish label coming out of Korea and Australia, although their styles are a little retro I like them.

Plenty of styles and colours to choose from, and they are very affordable, which must be a plus in the current times, for me they are for your everyday wear and not for that special night out.

        Japan and Australia have already taken them as an alternative to the big names ( ginch gonch, Aussiebum ) and I can see them making it in Europe very soon, as for American market........that seems to be the nut all the world wants to crack, it's vast buying power is the lure for any new brand, whether underwear or rock band, if you can make it their your make it anywhere!!!!

                Well while I was crawling the net, and, messing with you tube I came accross this little nugget of underwear tube gold. At first it was surreal, but, as I continued the Japanese tourists showed more interest.   
    So I watched and it grew on me, Munich being a nice place to visit, couldn't hold my eyes as I watched these 'models' strut their stuff . So you tell me what do you think? Well, I'm sure that some of you are fans of under armour, but you guessed it, I'm not.

Sure they are good for the gym(or so I'm told) but for me there colours are boring, there style is lacking, and they could be so much better. If they were made of kevlar and were going to protect the brave soldiers from getting thier balls blown off, they would get a massive thumbs up from me, but, they don't so it's a thumbs down,sorry under armour more effort required.

Now, sports stars is where we are loosely heading, because Bjorn Borg, tennis star, and arch enemy of my personnal favourite of the era, John McEnroe.......But I'm getting side tracked, Bjorn Borg underwear is rather nice, vibrant colours,nice simple designs and very affordable.

Although they are a little run of the mill in style, the nice bright colours grant them a little redemption and so I think a  look at the underwear is worth while.

Today we are looking at Quadrigae Zeus ,  there use of swarovski crystals is unique,  so let's say your balls are going to be wrapped in crystals, I like the sound of that.

The unusual idea and name is coming out of the u.k. and the sheer luxury of the underwear puts them out on their own, expensive? Yes and no, they have a range that is affordable for us all, but, they also have a rather expensive, but, beautifully made range that may be a little out of the normal price range.  But saying that if you deserve a treat, or someone you think of as extra special, these would make an excellent gift.

I have found a few sites that offer Quadrigae Zeus, but they are a little exclusive, mv4men will be happy to ship them anywhere in the world for you, and, if you ask nicely they will gift wrap them and send them straight to the one you love!

                 As you can tell we have gone down under again. You just can't help it, these Aussie's are obsessive about there underwear.  Ginch Gonch are another of the big boys from Australia, they seem to be coping quite well without Jason Sutherland, but will they stay the distance?
                I don't think they are to worried about that, they still have a great name, great flair and great style,  they are absolutely massive in the oriental/asian market and in my opinion are going from strength to strength.

                                               Attitude and style,this is where it's at, Rufskin underwear along with all there clothing is fabulous.  The past year has been great for the designer's and although they have a growing army of fans they are still small enough to avoid the mainstream title, but you heard it here , they are going to be big.

Hope you are all well, and enjoying my blog.  They tell me Diesel is a dirty fuel that's no good for our planet, well they can say what they like, I know that Diesel underwear is desirable dirty or clean.  Maybe not cutting edge, but, the designers of this label keep up with what's new and popular.  Diesel are among my favourites of the underwear giants, they seem to effortlessly keep hip and with it.  There range of colours and styles are consistently good and they haven't lost (dare I say it ) their street cred, or  common touch.

French Todger

Bon jour underwear fans,
       I am afraid my french does n't go much further than that.  Personally I think the french are a little over rated, but have great taste in fashion and food, until this.

     I'm sure some of you out there will think this great, innovative and stylish.  But it's not for me, the model has some good skin art, but the underwear is lacking in something, I can't (and don't want to) put my finger on it.  Maybe you guys could sway me into looking at it differently. Todger is coming out of Paris and although the quality is excellent, for me the underwear just does n't measure up to what I expect from the french when it comes to style and fashion.

Who's a Clever boy then

    Apart from everyone who reads justmensunderwear, there are a couple of Clever boys out there.
The label is coming out of Columbia, that in it self should give you a good feeling, it's not only the South Americans that have the need to feel the temperture rise and the blood start to pump a little faster when the hot latino's start to strut thier stuff.
    Clever, or Clever Moda, have survived this cut throat business of underwear for a few years now,(2004) and that doesn't happen by chance.  They have some great designs, and thier newest line looks ready to build on the name they have created for themselves.  I like these very much, and in todays picture, this guy looks fantastic, viva Columbia!

Where does it all end?  Look at this young man Cristiano Ronaldo, excellent football player.  Now this means he is automatically a lower grade celebrity, but, his high profile (the boy must love his agent) and high wages elevate him to a sought after commodity in the fashion industry. 

Who but an exulted few could afford such a boy, of course, it's Armani.  I must say that as a model Ronaldo looks great in these beautifully cut Armani briefs, I think the photographer deserves the credit for the pose.

Hey there underwear fans,

What are you all up to today?  I am cruising the internet,looking for a new set of underwear.  But, now we are awash with so many choices,  I just find it so difficult to decide.  A decade or so ago are underwear was not so liberated, but with time, we can now walk around the streets in it, if we so desire.(not sure I would but would like to see lots of others doing it).

O.K. let's get down to it, while cruising I got stuck a little while on Bonewear, these South Africans have found  the combination of styles and colours to suit most of us awkward buyers, who just love underwear.  On there site they also promote there models, which I think is great, because most of them are home grown talent.  Tell me what you think of the underwear and then the models.

Piss and Vinegar

Well hello underwear fans,

Piss and Vinegar? You all probably know that this recently new brand is brought to you by Jason Sutherland(formerly Ginch Gonch), let's face it the guys got talent, not only at picking a name that screams at you, but for his great approach to underwear, no serious bullshit here, just fun!  In fact the guy is full of piss and vinegar! I had never heard the phrase, so I unlocked one of the cage doors and set my technical whore about his business.

A minute passed and he gave me this, "full of piss and vinigar" definition-rowdy, boisterous, to be full of youthful energy.  Causing trouble or being sarcastic.

But the only bit I took any notice of is "full of youthful energy" and that seems to sum up Jason's zest for underwear, keep up the good work Mr Sutherland!  Today's picture is a little glimpse into his world.

  Is this art? I'm not sure if it is, but I am sure the Body art  German designer's think it is. I have taken a look at these guys, and I like alot of there underwear, wether or not it is art is niether here nor there,I know what I like and I like what I see!

 Art gallaries are rather stuffy and snobbish so my suggestion is that all gallery owners and critics should only make judgements and or sales in there underwear,so that everyone else can judge them on there choice of style and label.  I would love to see someone trying to pump up the value of a picasso or monet in there undies!

G'day underwear fans, well as you see from my greeting today we are going down..........come on now guys let me finish, down under is what I was going to say.  The Aussie's are not only brilliant at rugby and cricket they are also one of the best and innovative producers and designers of men's underwear.

Hello underwear fans, today I have tried something a little different, I am writing my blog commando!!Although not unpleasant (the feel of rough denim on my bits and pieces), I must say that I do miss my underwear, and I won't be trying this again in a hurry.  I miss the support and feel of leather (it is the weekend after all) it is second to none, but saying that..... let's take a look at today's offering.

Hey there you underwear lovers, as I said in my previous post, this is all new to me.  But you will be pleased to hear that I have, at my turn of the cage door key, a technical advisor and a designer to help me with any questions or problems that arise.  I keep them in seperate cages, because they would rip and tear at each others underwear if allowed any contact!  So, to today's picture we shall go, this is classic CK not exactly my taste(simply a bit to mainstream).  I mean anyone can and do own some Calvin, great for everyday but not for that special day or someone we are trying to impress (or undress).
